Photo Editing Software... It's like shooting fish in a barrel. We have all heard of Photoshop, Lightroom, Aperture, etc. But do you know your camera's default software? It's called Paint Shop Pro. Well, Fotoo has beat them all at the beach. There are so many great things that come from this software that I want to take the opportunity to discuss some below.
#1 Foton | photo editing | photo | make great photos} I use Foton for all my photo editing needs. It's free software, so what can go wrong. Well, actually there is nothing wrong with it. It takes a beat by the other well-known free photo editing software like Paint Shop Pro, Corel, and Adobe. The competition is fierce, so here are some reasons why Foton is better for the job, as stated below.
One: I like to save and organize my work in layers so that I can do edits on one section at a time versus having to go into the editor and make changes all over the image. If you look at most images you will see layers of the same image. With Foton you can make each individual layer stands out with it's own color and be able to delete or change the background of the layer to give it's own unique look.
Two: The best free photo editing software can make your social media marketing efforts even easier. It's a social networking tool in it's self that allows you to upload your photos to their site, which then gives you the option of commenting, sharing them, sending them to others, and etc. This makes your photo's and posts more social and dynamic to everyone's eye.
Three: Filters are probably the most used tool in any photo editing software package. Many people don't use them because they think they are too difficult. Filters are the absolute best way for beginners to start learning how to do things right and get good results. They give you the ability to make small and simple changes to your photos without them being drastic and changing the look completely. They also come in handy for retouching old photos and enhancing color and contrast.
Four: One of the most unique features of photo editing software like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro is the ability to fully customize what you want to do. This is great for bloggers, website designers, or any type of person who wants to customize every last little bit of their work to suit their needs. You can use filters and tools to add text, adjust colors, re-size images, and much more.
Five: Google+ has recently been integrated with Facebook and a photo editor called Fotor. This means that anyone can easily upload their photos from their Google+ account and have them posted onto their Facebook page. Not only that, but you can also see your photos on your Facebook timeline. There are other photo editing software packages out there that allow you to post to Facebook as well, so make sure you choose one that supports both services. If you want to try a Google+ integration, you should definitely look into Foto Snapshot. It's free to download and is highly recommended by many professional photographers.
Six: Ashampoo is another great photo editing software package that allows users to make edits to pictures. You can do everything from crop, contrast, red eye, and focus. It does not matter if you're using a free version or a paid version. The free version is highly recommended. You can even import images from your social media sites like Flickr and Facebook.
Seven: GIMP is probably one of the oldest and best photo editing software packages available on the market. It is completely free to download and is easy to use for both beginners and professionals alike. Even if you do not know very much about computers, you can still use GIMP. One great thing about GIMP is that it is compatible on both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. If you are on a MAC, the free version will work on it, but the paid version works great on the regular version. So if you want to edit your photo's on your MAC, choose GIMP.
Eight: Fotor is one of the newest and best free photo editor out there. If you are completely new to computers, you will not have any problem using Fotor. It is very user friendly. Just be sure to do research on the different settings so that you get the best result with your editing. Fotor costs nothing, but it is not as advanced as other programs.
